We live in a country full of large industrial farms that focus on growing one crop in the same place, year after year, aided by pesticides and chemical fertilizers. Fields of corn, soy, and wheat might get turned into animal feed or sugar, or might not be eaten at all. Our home (Earth) burns, blows, freezes, and floods at rates no one alive has likely seen.

At Star & Sparrow, we emphasize what’s best for the environment. We strive to be good stewards of a wide variety of trees, vegetables, berries, and flowers. Using natural systems, we try to balance and diversify our farm’s ecology with birds, bees, and sheep enjoying free range grazing and happy lives. We hope to inspire others to grow their own food in a way that benefits the land, their community, and themselves.
